    May 25, 2015 · As a Muay Thai/boxing coach, I have always told my students to stop lifting heavy/don't try to bulk for the first 3 month or so of training. If you want to kick harder, you need great form and speed. I've had a lot of big bulky guys come thru, and they were so slow.
