Oct 04, 2016 · Kelly Rexroad Williams is reporting that John Coffee of Coffee’s Gym suffered a stroke this past Saturday. Coffee is currently in ICU at Kennestone Hospital in Marietta, Georgia. This has not been a good week for USA Weightlifting as Jon North is also in ICU following cardiac arrest and is undergoing surgery this afternoon .

May 27, 2014 · John Coffee also taught me how to snatch in this room (Coffee's Gym in Marietta GA) during my first ever oly session. Like this person here, I had some barbell sense and had good fitness/flexibility prior to beginning and got the basics down pretty quickly, but I definitely owe that to John.
